Hildegard Borkent, Dutch national but with her heart firmly handed over to the Algarve, made the very most of her passion for languages and an innate wanderlust to travel the globe before discovering her true love – Portugal. A background in international business, plus a passion for the region meant that real estate was a perfect fit.
More than twenty years down the line, and having founded Seven Quintas Property Search in 2007, Hildegard has a sharpened sense of the local real estate market, developing an enviable insider knowledge of property negotiation in the region, while at the same time losing none of the human touch. A relatable confidant in the often-confusing world of Portuguese real estate transactions, Hildegard uses her knowhow to the clear advantage of her clients.

Office Manager
Algarvean through and through, Marta Pinto dos Santos, is a passionate advocate of her homeland. Able to guide you through the region’s many wonders and hidden gems, Marta’s background in the hospitality industry has proved invaluable since she joined the Seven Quintas team in 2016.
As Office Manager, Marta is Hildegard’s ‘right-hand woman’, bringing efficiency and experience into play, and proving an integral part in the process of successfully finding and selling properties.
